Windows Updates Available

Every time I log on I am told there are Windows updates available. So I go to download them only to be told I am unable to download due to the following: Windows Genuine Advantage Notification (KB905474). How can I download this or how will my laptop know that this need not be downloaded and assume all is up to date? Thanks

Microsoft believe you to be running an illegal copy of Windows so will not allow you the updates.

Try this:

If you have an 'updates are available' notification in your taskbar, click it. In the automatic updates dialog that appears, uncheck the Windows Genuine Advantage item. Click Close. In the pop up message, check don't notify me about these updates again and click OK. Hopefully, that should stop Windows update from bugging you about it.
