online only in safe mode

mates laptop will go online only in safe mode -did 2 system restores , various security scans - nothing major found, removed recent programmes , defragged , chkdsk, disabled firewall , disabled progs from msconfig - but to no avail, msn messenger says problem with default gateway did repair - but no success

using b/band - is this a virus /spyware or something else?

Hard Reset the PDA, and delete its partnership on your desktop. then connect it again.
