power point

Just recently i've been unable to open jpeg links in my Yahoo account. I click open and a milli second flash and back to open document. One one a error message said.. Powerpoint can't read c:\doc and settings\my name\local settings\temporary\internet files. What have I done wrong,and how do I rectify it please

It sounds like your default program for viewing JPEG's has been changed.

If you are running XP follow these steps and it should fix it..

1) Save the attachment to your desktop

2) Right click on the file and select "open with" and then "Choose Program"

3) Select "Windows Picture and fax viewer", "Internet Explorer"

4) Tick the box which says "Always Use the selected program" and click OK

Thanks for assistance. Would seem my 'cache' was chockers. I often empty temp files,but never the offline option. It took 10 mins to clear..Working now. Thank you for trying
