I have a trojan horse on my computer

The name is: psw. Banker2.erb

Is there any kind person that knows how to get rid of this virus ?

PS I am no computer geek and a simple but effective way of ridding this would be brilliant

an up to date antivirus should detect & remove it, but remember to switch off system restore whilst this is taking place, or the trojan will come right on back when you restart.

I had an AVG anti-virus system on before it caught the trojan horse. It is now in the avg virus vault can i not remove permanently ?

heres another way of doing it, taken from another forum of people who have had and removed this - AVG apparently can and does remove it though, but it may be worth removing these files by going into Windows explorer (if they are still there)-

turn off system restore open windows in safe mode use windows explorer & delete hookerdll.dl2l and cssrs.exe from c:\windows - then go back to live mode & rerun AVG

now it's gone re-enable system restore
