connection problems

can anyone help with my connection problem since being upgraded to a faster speed it is taking up to 20mins to get a connection and when i do get a connection it keeps dropping tried every possible solution my commputor is in my bedroom and runs of an extension telephone lead, told to try it in the main telephone box worked perfect for awhile then after a couple of weeks the same problem arose i,m at my wits end any response greatly appreciated

Hi Susan. Do you (now) have a modem/router that can handle you new speed?

I had a very similar situation 6mths ago and it turns out the new modem they sent me was faulty. Replaced it and never looked back.
