boring screensaver

i'm sick of looking at it. has anyone got a good one?

LOL.......why do you want to sit looking at your screen saver?..........surely it disappears when you start using the machine. I do much more interesting things with my PC!...........unless you meant to say desktop?

...I have put my personal favourite photos in a folder and use the My Pictures Slideshow feature as a screensaver.

Try going into your screensaver setup and clicking on your stored and saved pictures ..."my Pictures' in Windows XP. Follow the prompts and set up scrolling. I have 800 pictures stored. When screensaver actuates, it scrolls through all 800, each one lasting 2 seconds. You can keep adding pictures from just about any source on the net, if they interest you. You will never get bored. And it does the job, by keeping movement on the monitor.

Well commoner, If i'm working at the desk and have the computer on, i may be reading something or writing the good old fashioned way - with paper and pen! so that's how i see my screensaver quite a bit. I find myself staring at it whilst thinking.
