I just load this up - plug in my zen and then select which tracks I want to transfer by highlighting them and sending them to the player.
There are 3 columns in CMS - first one lets you choose your library (usually my music) the second shows you all the tracks in your library and the third shows (when you use the drop down menu) your zen. (you may want to add some playlists before transferring tracks)
Select your tracks and using the arrow on the column margin send them to the player.
Media Player works in a similar way and although I used it at first I found it quite hard to find the tracks I wanted.
I have transferred 2500 tracks using CMS. It should be on the CDs you got with your player.
This is quite hard to explain so good luck!
I agree with Machecoul it isn't easy the first time. The book isn't very explicit is it!
It is exactly as explained. The hardest thing is finding the music source in the left column which has Machecoul suggested is usually My Music. Find it in the same way as you would if you were opening in from your desktop.
The 3rd column if it isn't visable, can be found by pressing one of the blue arrows at the very bottom of the righthand side. It says something like Hide or Display column. From the drop down menu of this column select your MP3 player.
Then all you have to do is highlight the song you want ( which will be in the middle column now you have found the source) and then press the blue arrow in the middle of the line which separates the middle and righthand column. It only takes seconds for them to transfer.
Good Luck.
