edit a photo

can i edit a picture in msword or word perfect? i have a picture of my niece and i only want to use her face in a post card. if i can, what features do i use to remove the rest of her? thanks xx

Insert your picture into the document you want to use.
Click on the picture to select Show Picture Tool Bar

There is an icon of two little crosses click on this it is a Crop Tool.

Little white squares will appear at the side of the photo - manipulate these till the picture is the size you want.

It would be as easy to download one of the free photo programs eg Picasa2 from Google
