I've just moved house and I can't for the life of me remember exactly how my TV, DVD recorder and freeview box are connected up (and I really want to record Greys Anatomy which is on at 10pm - only 45 minutes away!)
The TV aerial is going straight into the freeview box. There are 2 scarts coming from the freeview box, one to the TV and one to the DVD recorder. There is also another aerial lead (coexial??) going from the freeview box to the TV (nothing works without this connection for some reason). The TV works fine on analogue and on digital and the freeview box works fully as well. The DVD recorder works in that it play DVDs however I can't get it to receive a scart signal so that I can record digital TV.
Can anyone help me? Please?

u need a conection from dvd rec to tv--try aerial to freeview--coaxial out freev box to dvd rec then coax to tv and scart from dvd to tv--u need to tune ur dvd to the freev channel
to clarify--by tune ur dvd to freev channel i mean tune it in the way u would tune any normal channel from a normal aerial source
I ALWAYS make a note of my cable connections (what goes where) BEFORE unplugging everythng, or if I add a new component.

It is amazing how difficult it all is when you come to put it back together again
