my dell laptop has been switched off for weeks now and now it wont open at all???/ it says my password is wrong but it isnt cos i recently reset it to what it is now this is second time this has happened any ideas????

are you using the correct password, remember they are case sensitive (proudmary or Proudmary), if your laptop is more than a few years old it may be that your CMOS/BIOS battery is low or empty, other symptons are your clock losing time.

sorry its windows password thats wrong and yes its corect happened before and was re set by repair man would rather avoid that kinda costs again
