Strange sounds

Is it just my computer? Since I logged on there's been some sound effect repeating about every 20 seconds. First there's a splashing sound then a popping sound. Anyone else experiencing this or have my kids been messing around?!

It's that dumb fishing pop up. organised by adviva I believe. I think you can get rid of it by turning your volume down. ;-} Else click your X Stop button [next to 'refresh' on my oe5 button bar] - dam splosher!

This happened to me once, but it was the sound of a cash register - weird.

Thank goodness gazza - It just started this morning on my computer, and sounds like someone diving into a swimming pool, followed by the popping - I really thought I'd turned the corner, brainwize!!! Where does it come from,though?

I wish I'd read this before spending 20 minutes trying to find out what triggers it off -irritating isn't it.

Its that blasted first direct advert at the top of the page!!!
