360 games probaly won't work on a standard X-Box ....

The 360 is backwards compatible so the old games should work fine

360 games definitely wont work on an xbox and i repeat,some xbox games will work on the 360 not all.

they are still working on backwards compatability so maybe one day they will all be playable.

What Mattk says is correct, some but not all xbox games will work on the 360, but the list is growing all the time. You'll find the list HERE.

One very important note though, is that you'll either need to buy the premium bundle of the 360 that includes the hard disk, or you'll need to buy a hard disk seperately. The disk is used to store emulation software necessary to run the old games.
