Getting broadband

I'd like to set myself up with broadband at home for the first time. I've been in my flat for 2 years but have never had a landline, although it does have phone points already set up.
I have no intention of getting a landline, and so paying BT line rental would only be used for the broadband and must be factored into any package I get. What is the best bet for me to go for?
