My parents live on the Costa Del Sol & have their sattelite dish out there (along with nearly every other ex-pat), they have it so they don't miss out on the BBC & ITV mainly. They are in quite a panic as they've heard that the BBC & ITV from May onwards are no longer broadcasting on SKY, & that they have gone elsewhere, to another sattelite which will not broadcast outside the UK!! can anybody give me some advice on how to get round this loophole, if there is a way around it, as it will be affecting lots of ex-pats lives who like to keep up with the news back home.

The BBC aren't going to stop broadcasting on Sky - they are simply un-encrypting the signals. It may mean, however, that they stop broadcasting some sports events on these channels (eg: Scottish football) as they are covered by regional agreements - because the 'change' will allow you to view all BBC regional stations.
