old text documents

hi anyone know if i can delete told ext documents from my windows folder and if i can delete old Application Extension files from my system 32. doing a clean up of pc. thanks.

By the way, this useful free program will tell you where all the large things are on your hard drive that are taking up all the room.

thanks ill try that. just wanna get rid of the old files if not needed. when things are updated dont understand why older files are left ....... ta

Yep - leave them! Even if you delete 500 text files, they'll be tiny and you'll not really gain any space. And you'll probably knacker your PC deleting anything from system folders.

Like everyone else has mentioned dont delete anything in the System32 directory
