Does anyone no where I can get a cheap canon ixus v2 digital camera in the uk either second hand or new and how much it will cost.

you could look at ebay a friend of mine got a great digital sony camera from ebay a few months back i think the retail price was between �300 and �350 he got it for �180 and the guy threw in an extra memory stick and the camera was in great condition and working order.apart from that ive found jessops not a bad camera shop and there prices are not that bad

I think most of the High Street retailers have discontinued the V2 in favour of the V3. www.internetcamerasdirect.co.uk are selling for �228 delivered but for �70 less you could get a 2Mpixel Fuji on Dixon's website.

Look at the Nikon Coolpix 2500, RRP �299, most dealers �249, Dixons & PC World are doing it for �149, it is an excellent camera, good build, features and size and an unbeatable price.
