I have recently purchased a domain name from Easily in anticipation of starting a new business enterprise. I am not too bothered about my web page yet but need to start emailing, with my new domain name, asap.

I know that Easily provide an email service but there rates seem quite high. Does anyone know what the simplest/ easiest way for me to proceed is, or am i stuck with Easily now that I have purchased the domain from them?

I want to set up my new account in Outlook or Outlook Express, thanks.

Do you have your own email already? I'll presume so. So, go to the Easily site and logon, The go to the 'manage your domain names' (or something similar) page. In there will be an option for configuring the email. In essence, the simplest way of using your domain for email is to use it as a forwarding service, which just sends any emails it gets onto your personal address. So you just create the mailbox name (EG enquiries@????.co.uk) and set it to forward mails to you.

As for sending, you can do this by changing the 'from' or return address in Outlook.

Note all the above is a simple, low-volume approach. If you're expecting 1000s emails, you really need a more robust and flexible solution, as offered by Easily.
I've recently done the same sort of thing and you'll not be able to use your domain for email address's unless you pay Easily or some other host for the service. But you WILL need a host of that I'm pretty sure. I went with Fasthosts and their email costs 3.99/month inc web site hosting
I have a domain name registered with Easily, and I get free, basic email services, as I outlined above.
