Mpg.......Mv4????

I have some files which are mpg's which I want to use on my mobile phone, I need to make them into mp4's but so far have only managed through iTunes to create mv4's, has anyone any idea how to do this

They're probably the same (I think the container is the same, anyway); try just renaming the file extension manually to .mp4.

This free program converts all manner of video files to almost anything else, if the above trick won't work.

Thanks fo3nix, never thought of that, did try re naming the mpg file, but think your way will work, will try the program you mentioned as well.
