I keep getting pop up ads by micosoft internet explorer , how can i get rid , what does everyone here do to get rid of these annoying ads? thanks

If you are running Windows XP have you got Service Pack 2 on ?

This did a lot to block pop ups. I certainly saw a drop when Service Pack 2 appeared.

Hi Dukas68. Install google toolbar, it has a pop up blocker plus lots of other goodies.

Stop using internet explorer and instead use Firefox. Miles better.
