I have periods of intermittent connection when using the internet. The connection will generally come on for 4 - 5 minutes, stall for around 15 - 30 seconds and then come back on for another 4 - 5 mins etc. When this happens I've tried totally unplugging the device, resetting, pulling out wires and putting back in, turning computer off. I've called my provider many times but theyre absolutely useless at solving problems so I came here. Just to give you an example of what error message I sometimes get, so someone could perhaps tell me whats happening, thanks :

TCP/IP stack not bound to all active network adapters

The following network adapter(s) appears not to have TCP/IP enabled:
Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller

If you are attempting to use the adapter(s) above to connect to your Broadband service please enable TCP/IP for this adpater and then press Retest.

However we have detected that you have more than one active adapter that you may be trying to connect to your broadband service with. If you are attempting to use an adapter other than the one(s) listed above to please press Continue.
