is there anyway i can get my computer to make a noise when i get an email?? thanx xXx

Look at you list of sounds in Control Panel and choose a sound for New Mail Notification under "Program Events".

ok i've got the control panel but can't find program events or new mail notification.

try control panel >sounds and alerts > click the sound tab notification will be there
