Junk mail problem?
3 Answers
Does anybody else keep receiving e-mails from what is seemingly a medical place? Me:d, Medshop, M:e:d. Every time I check my emails, 90% of the time, there is a new one.
The funny thing was, I checked the recent one this morning, and it was sent to a hotmail address which isn't even mine!
I have not signed up to receive emails like this, and my junk filter is reliable, it's just these Med-emails that end up in my inbox. Is anybody else experiencing this problem, or is it something I'm doing wrong?

If you use hotmail or something just report them as spam as usual; there's not much you can do about it really.

My only suggestion would be to download Thunderbird (free), and set your email up so that you check it from there. It includes a bayesian spam filter, which learns what is and isn't spam. This can be made to automatically move emails it thinks is spam into your spam folder, which will save you time. Then all you have to do is check your spam folder every few days to confirm that it hasn't grabbed something that isn't really spam.
This will work with Hotmail and Gmail, and probably others like Yahoo! also (I've never used others).
