Can anyone tell me why, since i installed Messenger, my computer is doing all sorts of crazy (virus-like) things? Has anyone else had this problem?

which messenger?
I've removed Yahoo from my PC cos it kept causing it to crash.

It was Yahoo Messenger. Maybe that's the problem. It does some really odd things, and does a lot of the 'this programme is not responding' things. Do you now of any other Messengers that are less bothersome? Thanks for your help!

don't really tend to use them much, but i've not had a problem with msn messenger
