On recommendation from this site Fo3nix & Co I downloaded trial version of above. As it was said to be free I am wondering if I have downloaded the wrong version or if now that it is sunbeltkerio it is no longer intended to be free
I downloaded it to a new notebook which I have not had much time to use this week but when I last did it tried to download an update which was very slow and in the end I stopped it Today I have received an email asking my opinion on 21 day trial should I proceed or go for something else free thanks

Yea, it's a bit of a funny thing. It installs a trial version for you, and after xx days it tells you the trial has run out and you can either continue to use it for free with basic functions or pay for the more advanced functions.

The more advanced functions will not be useful to the vast majority of home users (I certainly don't need them), and so the free version suffices.

As for the update thing, I've had the same problem. It takes ages and ages it seems. I don't know why. Perhaps they only have one server issuing the updates and it's blocked up by the number of people trying to download the latest version?

Thanks for that Fo3nix sounds free version will be OK but if updating is always so slow, I may go for an alternative anyway
Updating is not normally slow. There was a pretty major upgrade the other day - so I imagine that's what you experienced.
I just told it up update then carried on with my browsing. When I'd finished it had updated.
