I have had a letter explaining that their new, free (for the basic service) to SKY customers, broadband service, will soon be available, but not yet all over the country, in which case they can offer a conventional service for 17.99 a month. I was wondering if anyone, anywhere is actually able to get the free service or is that just a sales gimmick? It is not available where I live, in Wiltshire. For information, go to www.SKY.com.

Nope, not to me here in Glasgow either. I get the impression though that it is genuine and they will roll it out eventually. Perhaps they are just getting a feel for who will subscribe? I'm hoping to change from my overpriced BTOpenworld.
