Using Mozilla/Firefox
2 Answers
I've just started using Firefox and so far so good. But do I need to use Internet Explorer still to use Hotmail as I don't seem to be able to open it through Firefox. Does anybody have any tips for using it - shortcuts etc? I'd like a Firefox icon in my taskbar so how do I do that pls? Many thanks.

In firefox, open hotmail by typing hotmail into the address bar.
Sign in using your hotmail name and password.
It should now be open in firefox.
Right click anywhere on the page.
Choose bookmark this page - scroll down 1 to 'bookmark toolbar'.
When you refresh the page the icon should be in your toolbar above the page.
Click on - and it should open.
Good luck!

If you click to check your mail through msn, it'll probably always open Internet Explorer. Microsoft likes it that way.
You can however goto hotmail.com in firefox and check your email that way.
