Hi I had a Sony ericcson K750i for about a year, always had trouble with the joystick, but a couple of weeks ago it started to have problems with the screen and now, when you turn it on, the screen flashes white for a minute then goes dead again,,,I looked on eBay to by a replacement, and low n' behold! theres tonnes of people selling them in the same condition as mine!

Does anybody know how this problem is fixed or if you've had this fixed, how much did it cost?

If the cost of fixing is high i may as well sell it to someone who wants to pay for the repairs...

Any help will be great, I'm fairly clued up on phones but this has got me baffled...thanks

Hey i had this kinda trouble with my sony ericsson apparently the joysticks were there weak points but its good they have made newer models with just a multifunction key instead.
As for the white screen alot of them tend to do this im guessing its a general fault within that model of phone and i think youd be better off just selling it on and using the money to get something better :) also people on ebay pay stupid prices for faulty phones - ive sold a couple on there myself
you can d/load a complete new software package for it ., if you have the usb cable it came with ..from the sony ericson site. re formatting it back to factory settings might help, whats the worst that can happen? i have restored my phone software once before and it worked a treat. all the info will be on the site.
flog it & get the new sony ericsson..the w810i its a beaut & with no joystick its still working after 3 months usage...unlike the k750i which started to knacker on me after a month!!
