When I downloaded these movies I thought I could convert them to DVD format and burn them to disc no probs. Obviously (as I now know) this isn't the case, they won't import to any file handling software. Is there a way, maybe some software, that will allow me to get past the protection that's such a pain in the ....?
ps. It bothers me I can't do anything usefull with these films cos I paid for the bleeding things !
many thanks

I need more information. What is the format of the download? What is your operating system? What copying software are you using? Given this information, I can probably help. I will not give advice if I think the copying will infringe copyright law. You need to tell me where you are (as in country). Any other info you think might be helpful.

thanks for that bergasha, just tried it out but it didn't work, says it can't render the graph. I've used lots of similar progs. but none of them strip away the protected content licence and let me convert the file. Very annoying!
Try something like this:

What place did you download it from?
