Have you tried accessing programme from start menu, a lot of programs will have an un-install display when go to it via start menu.

yes i have and when you click delete it says this will only delete the shortcut and directs me toward add/remove programs
By your last answer I think you've misunderstood Ratter's advice. Are you sure you're not right-hand clicking and choosing 'Delete' from the list of options? Usually if an undelete program doesn't display it, it means it has it's own uninstall program which you gain access to, as Ratter said from the Start Menu.
Download ccleaner (cr*p cleaner) from here:-

http://www.ccleaner.com/

but be very careful what you delete with it.

it just says download accelerator plus has added the link to the queue, please press the back button to continue browsing but there should be no queue anyway
I've got DAP on my PC and I can't understand why anyone should want to remove it.

However, if I go to Start > Programs > Download Accelerator, there's an option marked 'Uninstinstall DAP'. Surely that should do the job?

Unless mkjuk has deleted that link from the Start Menu/Programs?

ccleaner is on this month's PCPro DVD.
Even if the shortcut to the uninstall program is no loger available, the program itself should still be there. Assuming that the program was installed to the default folder, it should be at C:\Program Files\DAP\DapRemove.exe. Double-click on that file and DAP should be uninstalled.
