does anyone know how many xbox / PS2 have been sold- is an Xbox worth buying- or is it going to go Dodo like the Dreamcast?

Not sure but I know that Xbox is a long way behind PS2 in terms of sales but is in front of the Game Cube. I think you could say that its worth buying from a future point of view just depends on what sort of games you want. Technically speaking (i.e. Hardawre) its a better machine than the PS2 but history is littered with technically better machines which never made the big time, BETAMAX, DAT etc etc. Having said that its Microsoft and they dont fail, I know I worked for them.
