sse2

I have just received my Nokia N93 ( It's fantastic! ) and it comes bundled with Adobe Elements 2.0. When I tried to load it on to my computer it says I don't have SSE2 support. Now it's only a year old ( and I can't remember exactly what processor is inside it ) so is there anyway I can get SSE2 installed without changing the processor? Or would I need to upgrade that too? Any advice would be appreciated, but try to dumn it down a bit if possible. I'm not the most computer literate person.

Maybe then a google search would have further info. Good luck!
Thanks Scatty. When i tried loading Adobe Elements 2.0 and it said my system didn't have SSE2, it also gave a list of the processors that do have it. My problem is, as I apparently don't have one of them, do I need to change the processor ( and if so is it a big job and how expensive ) or can I get SSE2 from somewhere ? Any ideas anyone ?
SSE2 is hardware, so yes, you will need to change your processor to get it.
Not a big job, unplug one, plug in another. Shouldn't affect any software.
Depends on what you need to get, but ebay has loads of 2nd-hand processors for sale, from prople who have upgraded. SSE2 is quite old now, so you don't need the very latest processor. You'd probably get something for around 50, or even less, if lucky. Make sure you buy from an established, reliable seller. I have upgraded 2 processors by buying off ebay and both were fine. make sure what you buy is supported by your existing hardware: m/board and memory.

Yup, and I'm surprised that your particular processor doesn't support SSE2. But, as you know, it doesn't.
The bad news is that your particular processor has a socket A attachment to the motherboard, and there seems to be no processors with socket A attachments that have SSE2 support. If I'm right (I think I am...), this means you'll need a whole new motherboard too.
But, do you really need Elements on? You can get a lot of other software that will do your photo editing for you, that probably doesn't need SSE2 support. Photoshop CS itself, for example, can't need it, because my Dad has it installed on our old Athlon 1.2GHz computer, with an older processor than yours.
My suggestion would be to try Picasa:
