We have been hit with several trojans lately which I have dealt with using AVG. However, every time I go onto Google we get a warning that W32 Myzor.FK@yf is present.. It recommends downloading "officially approved software" to combat it. If I choose OK, then it takes me onto a website for "Malware wipe". I have not gone any further. I think this is a scam. Could anyone please let me know if they have come across this? Also, I cannot get rid of it from the google home page. Any ideas? Very much obliged, Jonathan

Hiya PM
I've had notifications like this - they'll offer a free scan and naturally find some sorts of malware. Have you any advert pop-up prevention?
Definitely a scam, do not pay for anything.

Download Adaware Personal, and do a full scan of your hard drive. Then do a full scan using AVG. Hopefully that should sort it.
