NOKIA N80 callers name

Can anyone help. I bought an N80 yesterday on the 3 network. My boyfriend bought one same time.

Anyway, when i get some texts the name of the sender does not come up, just the number, even if the number is in contacts list.

any ideas? Ive even stored the number directly from the text.

Plus when i get calls only some say who the caller is.

Have i got to change a setting somewhere?

magellan gps 300 - how can i use it in the car?????

It basically where your phone is reading the numbers from - either your phone memory or memory card.

Thanks Herc,
I still dont understand why this is happening though. I saved all numbers in exactly the same way (not sure if phone or sim) and this wont show the ID when he calls or texts. There was one other text that showed no ID and that was a reply to a text i sent out where the number is also stored.
