Next big thing will be all your video / audio (TV programs, telephone calls etc) coming down your internet connection. True video on demand and free to talk to anyone anywhere in the world (who has an internet connection).

I think the next big thing will be wireless.

Wireless hot spots everywhere. You mobile phone, PDA or digital camera will "talk" to wireless hotspots as you walk round a shoping centre or any other building (factory, school, college).

Details of special offers in certain shops will be downloaded to your phone as you walk round a shopping centre.

You can take a picture with your phone (or digital camera) and then mail it back to your PC from anywhere via wireless.

Can you imagine, no longer will you take a picture then worry about losing it, or running out of memory on your camera, you just send all your pictures back to your home PC via wireless.

The list is endless.

i sincerely doubt free wildwide phone calls for everyone will ever become a reality.net phones such as skype probably do it now but once it really starts to take off subtle charges will appear.
