I've got it in my mind to make myself a little free site, because I love making pages and putting them up on the Web an designing the bits involved (I know...), but the problem is I don't know what to do with it. I don't want to make my site just about me, because I'd finish it in a few minutes then have nothing to add. I want to do something - I'm fairy good at animating GIF's, and I thought layouts would be a good venture, but I want to know what you all think. I'm quite arty and enjoy fiddling with things and helping other people with their websites. Suggestions welcome!

The most important aspect of any website is the content.

You can dress it in as much flash and popups a fancy layout, but if what you have to say is not interesting, no one will come. The content must be able to change regularly to attract people to keep coming back.

If you followed a news, sporting or tv event that is constantly changing and therefore easy to generate fresh regular. Just go with your interests, others are bound to have the same.
You said you like to help out? Im looking for some arty things for my new site, i need some buttons that move like graphic equalizers on stereo systems and a logo if you fancy helping me out?????

HI aviator, I've only got a basic GIF animating program and a bit of expertise, and I'm afraid I can't give out my contact address, but I'd be glad to help in any way I can. :)
