Writing to a CD
4 Answers
I've just tried writing a music file to a CD for the first time using Windows Media Player. I did one track to see if it came out alright; it did. Put the CD back in the rewriter drive and the computer said it was not blank, put a blank one in. Have I messed up cos I used a CD-R instead of a CD-RW or what? If so, is there any way round it or have I got an 80 min CD with one 2 1/2 min track on it?

So taking it out to check it will most likely have ended your disc's capability to be written to. Bummer I know, but at least now you know and haven't wasted shed-loads of discs before realising (certainly NOT like I did!).
