Windows is the best because it is the most used PC operating system in the world.

Mac is best because the hardware and software are both created by the same company, making a tight integration

Linux is best because it is free

Windows is worse because, no matter what Microsoft says, it's a security nightmare.

Macs are worse because they're expensive and most software is produced for Windows.

Linux is worse because it's so unfriendly and completely impenetrable to none geeks.

I've used linux and I'm a non-geek. However, if you're a techie genius and want to guarantee that your computer is set up exactly to your specifications and that it's impenetrable to hackers (or even someone stealing your PC) then linux is best.

If you want ease of use and to be able to ask one of millions of people with similar systems for help, then Windows is best.

Mac doesn't really fit into my plans here although I have noticed that users of Macs and linux are quite vociferous in their support for their systems (and sometimes a bit dismissive of Windows users). Bloody snobs ;-)

Ohhh I love questions like this one!!!!!

Windows is worst because it is bloated, slow, full of hole, vunerable to attack and pretty outdated now.

Windows is best because 99.99% of the worlds computing population use it.

Mac is worst because no one will actually be brave enough to try it having been fed a diet of Microsoft for years. ( Pssst - Its pretty good actually! )

Mac is best because it simply works - Period.

Linux is even better and worse than both of the above - Why? Because Linux is both Windows and Mac all at the same time. The move ( closer ) by Microsoft and Apple recently, prove this.

One day... All computers will be built this way.
