i have jus got a new phone and it has bluetooth. i tried to connect to my sisters one which was right next to my one but it says it cant find any devices. do i hav 2 register myself? any help would be much appreciated thx!!

have you and your sister made sure the visibility on both phones is on?

You both need to give your phones an identity so you will recognise each others phones.
