Slow Internet?

Hi, I log the internet on about 6pm and we leave it on all evening and use it as and when, lately when we use it at about 10pm onwards it is really slow and starts getting stuck. I have anti virus, spyware detector and spyware blaster. Can anyone suggest why it is slow and how to resolve it. Thanks in advance.

Forgot to mention that in the end we have to reboot it and then it works fine?

Well I be blowed. I was going to say "that happens to me at anytime during the day" so I simply swithch everything off and start again (reboot) and like yours, mine then works fine. Incidently my son say I've used less than 1/3rd of my hard drive.
