Overzealous Spam Filter
2 Answers
Yesterday I downloaded Spambayse as recommended by someone and now I'm not even get any mail at all to my Outlook.
What makes it worse is that on that person's recommendation again, I un-installed the Spambayse software to see if it helped. Now I'm still getting no email but have no Spambayse to check the rules of. I'm getting very frustrated.
If it helps, I'm getting an error message as the 'Send/Receive' function kicks in ....
Task 'my name' - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The server responded: +OK '
I'm not terribly computer literate - anyone any ideas? Ta muchly.

If you like, try accessing your email using Thunderbird instead of Outlook. It's safer, and comes with its own bayesian spam filter that works effectively. And it's free.
