Spam on Forum - help??
9 Answers
We are a small charity and we have a forum on our website. In the last few weeks we have received hundreds of spam, the "viagra" type! and they have been posted on it. Being a small charity we don't have the funds to monitor the forum i.e. have a password etc. anyone can post onto it but it is through my computer and every day I have to go in and delete hundreds. Is there anything I can do to stop this??

It's free to install and use on your website so short of a few minutes setting it up it won't cost you anything.
Other than that there isn't really much you can do to stop this sort of thing, you could try moving the forums to another location on your server and see if that helps but that might only delay the problem only for it to happen again in the future.
