Hey guys.
I have Talk Talk and can honestly say that I have not encountered any issues. I've already come across a few questions regarding intermittent connections. Top cat2 are you using the modem Talk Talk sent you? if so check for power management feature on device manager as this will affect your connection. Hope you sort your probs out.
No matter who your ISP is whether adsl or cable you will always get people who experience a fault. Nevertheless with Talk Talk snapping up more and more customers I'm sure there is more complaints to come as alot more people are going to jam up our local exchange.

I've had some problems with TalkTalk and had to re-install the whole thing! Not too happy with trying to get any help from them: they just want to charge you for dialling a number , also not happy about not able to get promised speeds, only getting 1.4Mbps. They claim it will be next year before I get anywhere near the speeds they advertise!! Not going to change though; signed into 18mnth. contract.

Well Grandpappy, that has been exactly my experience.
- they did tell me I could end my contract with them for broadband as I was with them for telephone calls. Like you I migrated from OneTel, where i had no problems at all. Typical problems are intermittent service and the advice to call their helpline at a minimum 2 per call. Sometimes you can go on-line, others you can't. The e-mail service is very poor. Promised up to 5 addresses and can only get one to work. The speed I get is 2.3, marginally better than OneTel - with promises of better sometime in the future. As I write, I am waiting for a reply to th eumpteenth letter - the last one warning them that I will cancel my DD with them as they are failing to provide the service they advertised.
