Just dropped mine and screen is bu*****d, Motorola, Virgin Network. Can i use sim card in another ohone different network, or must i stick to Virgin, thankyou

The sim card is for your particular phone number on your particular network. It'll work in any phone that is unlocked to use that network though: meaning a phone that's unlocked, or one on the virgin network.

Thankyou fo3nix, can i buy a new unlocked one ot does that mean someone has to unlock it for me?, sorry to be a thicko but im a 'silver surfer' and technology does not come naturally to me thankyou
you can buy unlocked phones or you could buy a new phone on a different network which will obviously give you a new number or......you can go through the hassle of taking your number with you but this costs money and can take a few days.
best bet is to go and buy an unlocked fone or a new virgin one and you can dispose of the simcard that comes with it or even sell the sim to a friend.
I'd do as mavis says: probably, get a new one from Virgin.
