Dial up connection when printing

I have a HP printer and every time I go to print the dial up connection dialog box appears - why is this and how can i prevent it from happening each time??

I'm no expert- but it could be that your printer has somehow identified itself as a network shared printer. The fastest way to get rid of that is to reconfigure it in the printers folder, but you could also just uninstall and reinstall the printer if you do not know what you are doing with the properties box.
