Alternatives to IE

I have been using IE 7 for a couple of months now and am not enjoying the experience so am considering trying an alternative browser
Which is best ?

I love firefox. I have it customised with useful plug ins, extensions and themes.

It is quicker and far more secure than IE.

On the very rare occasion when firefox just will not do, I use Avant. Incredibly simple, tabbed browsing. Very light too.

Firefox is so many times better than IE. It's free software, so anyone that spots a bug can either send it off to someone who knows how to fix it, or fix it themselves. Security problems get fixed in days, not weeks (like at Microsoft).

There is an extension for everything you want to ever do. I'd recommend downloading Tab Mix Plus, Adblock Plus, and Adblock Updater as the first 3. Another great is fasterfox.

go with firefox, i used IE before and FF is way better, downside is that my college still use IE and not FF
