i have the main phone port connection thing in my room and theres a secondary one downstairs. this morning while the one downstairs (its an internal extension, it runs from my main port) was unplugged at my port, i was able to get my full 8mb connection, but when it was reattached it was 2.5mb, and the one downstairs gets the full 8mb, which is annoying seeing as its my net that i pay for and even if the second port gets the full 8mb, it has a severely unreliable connection. i was basically wondering what my alternatives are, so that im still the primary port, with 8mb, without having a long external cable running downstairs. thanks
