BT site (http://www.bt.com/lines/lo_na_home.jsp) quotes �124.99 for a new line regardless of whether its a first or primary line or an additional line.

but if they don't come round and install it on the day they say they will, phone them, have a whinge and they might cut that cost in half!

worked for us anyway!

We never had to pay to get the line installed because there was already a connection point in the property we moved into. I just rang them up and the sent the agreement out and the line was connected about 7 days later without an engineer coming out.
