havnt got a a clue whats causing this but sometimes when I click on a web link my computer starts to connect to the wes site and then mysteriously takes me to Amazon.This is happening quiet frequently and is getting annoying.If i click backpage it will take me to the web page requested so it has obviously loaded, but what is the thing with amazon---are they so desperate to sell books? Any help appriciated guys

delete all cooies and history files, and go to :http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=351 4
and download winamp to pevent it happening again, its free bye the way!!

Thanks ratter,will give it a go but im still curious as to why it happens (computer illiterate that I am)
I think what you have is what is called an Internet Explorer Helper, but all it does is redirect all your searches to a different page. install winamp and go to IE helpers you can disable it from there.
