Firefox 1.5.0.7 problem on AB
4 Answers
I've got a strange problem with the above version of Firefox I'm running on my PC.
When I type into the "What is your question" box everything is fine until I type the apostrophe key.
This opens the "find" toolbar on the bottom of the screen and everything I type from that point on appears in the "find" box rather than the AB box. As the find facility is always unable to find the jumble of letters, it's highlighted in red and prevents further typing.
It also sometimes happens with other symbols too.
I'm getting fed up typing "I Will" instead of "I'll" - it sounds so much more stilted!
Many thanks

However, it shouldn't happen when you're typing in a textarea (it doesn't for me or rojash by the looks of it).
Goto your start menu, and open firefox in safe mode. Then goto this site and try and post a question: still get the same issues? If not, it may be an extension that you have installed that's interfering.
If you still get the same issue, then try uninstalling and reinstalling firefox.
