Hi, thanks for your reply. It would be much easier to renew on line.
Is there any difference between buying new or renewing on line, or do you get the same thing.
No difference as online will also send you a disc if you require it, but, I seem to recall at one stage Amazon was about 10 cheaper than the download price. Crazy or what?
I have to disagree, I have been with Norton for Years and I think there awesome and worth every penny, people keep on going on about AVG and stuff but to me there free for a reason, because they dont come with all the features that norton or mcafee have.
I was told to use AVG by a friend who works for Microsoft in the UK, that's all she uses, I've used it trouble free for 3 years, its brilliant and free, I'm sure it doesn't have some of the features of Norton etc, but it does everything expected of a virus scanner.
AVG is an excellent anti virus package. It is free for single users and has kept my machines happy and healthy for many years. Norton is a little to invasive for my liking, and it costs!

graham1024: Norton is well-known as being a resource hog, meaning that it slows your computer down. Also, independant tests regularly show it as performing way below par. Even free virus scanners like AVG and Avast are often above it (so perhaps not free for that reason).
